House Proud~

I am HOUSE PROUD! I love my urns on the front porch! Uncle Sam with his flags waving,the tomato red front door and my flag! It's really useful to take pictures of your spaces. It allows me to see not only the things I love~but also what I need to fix and spruce up.

Upcoming projects for the front include repainting the porch grey and taking out the landscaping to the right of the door and replacing it with boxwood's to balance the landscaping on the other side. Not hard or expensive. I love that! I also love my RED STAR on the front of the house it really ties in nicely with the door.

This is the view from the side (one side). We rarely use this entrance or the front but that doesn't mean that I don't want my family,friends and passersby to enjoy the view! I keep pots of flowers growing and I picked up the iron welcome sign when we first moved in 5 years ago. Notice that the light here matches the one on the front porch. Projects for this side: Also paint this porch and the door needs a fresh coat of paint as well.

So hopefully the lesson learned today to is take LOTS of pictures for your enjoyment! But also use them to keep yourself in check for all those little repairs that you might not see everyday!
