Found the little bed tray at the auction last week! ($1) I spray painted it white and placed a Cabbage Roses place mat on top. Then a treenware tray filled with rag balls and 3 little topiaries that I picked up at Cracker Barrel on clearance a couple of days ago. A couple of antique books and a picture of my grandmother and great grandmother from 1917 round out the vignette.

At a different auction last week I picked up 4 vintage crochet mallets for $2! I added them to the flower arrangement in my milk can! Love it!

Friday Yard Sale Finds~

 You know those days when you wake up and you aren't really motivated? I felt that way this morning! I only found one yard sale today in the paper and I was thinking just stay home. I'm so glad that I didn't!
As I was talking to the lady giving the yard sale~I told her how much I loved her vintage bicycle. She said it's for sale! How much I ask? $10 ~ You've never seen someone whip out money like I did! Then there was this antique radio Flyer "Rodeo" wagon ~ $8

And I found this silver tea tin with the words etched into the silver!

$20.25=pure Friday bliss!

I'm going to redo the flowers on the bicycle~not my taste! I'm thinking red geraniums and something white!

~You need a good trim~

 Matt found a roll of this great trim at the auction for
 .10 cents. Where to put it? I know-on the utilitarian shelf in the Laundry Room! It made a huge difference! Matt even said so!

It's Curtains for ME...

I have sliding glass doors in both of our bathrooms. We also have extremely hard water. So~not matter how much I scrub the water stains come back more often than I can clean them off. So I picked up this beautiful white shower curtain with brown stripes for $2
last weekend at a yard sale to cover things up! The room feels more put together now! I'm happy with it!
$2 = happiness~not bad!

Yard Sale finds and a Candlestick Obsession!

Some yard sale finds from this morning! I found these 2 black candlesticks (I have an obsession) for $3 total. I use these as ways to elevate things~not just for candles! You can also put a plate on top and turn them into cake plates/stands!

I found this adorable quilted pillow for a $1. Love the pink, blue and white. Also found the antique bottle with very old shabby label for  50 cents!

Matt found this wagon in the trash last weekend and I just had to put it out front! I put a pot of herbs in it but I plan to fill it up!

Found this for 50 cents today. Perfect for the 4th!

This topiary (Matt found 2 off these for me a few weeks ago for $1 a piece!) is great. But when we went to the Cheddar Box last weekend they had almost the same ones (Only larger) and they had pretty hounds-tooth ribbon. I found this black and white polka dot ribbon at Michael's and added it for the perfect touch!
